In Peril – Endangered Species is an exhibit showcasing three artistic formats, bringing awareness to the plight of animals around the globe. Charice Cooper, painter; Stormie Parker, ceramics; and Bruce Rosenstiel, photographer have documented the stages of endangerment from vulnerable to extinct in the wild through their individual medias.
Join the Keller Public Arts Board for this beautifully artistic, yet informative exhibit for all ages. A closing reception will be held on Thursday, August 15th from 7 – 9 pm. Robert Denkhaus, Fort Worth Nature Center, will present “Everything is Endangered Without Local Conservation.”
Charice Cooper has donated a print of an original painting, “Firefly Fly By”, with authentication for silent auction through the closing reception. All proceeds from the auction will go to The World Wildlife Fund.
