The Frisco Art Gallery is going to be hosting the “2019 Winter Art Show” starting December 10th. We are seeking winter-themed artwork such as snow-capped peaks, frosted landscapes, pine trees or bare branches, woodland creatures, holiday scenes, etc. All mediums of artwork will be considered, including decorated trees.
If you are interested in submitting your artwork (up to 5 pieces) for display, please send an email to Paige, (pprater@friscotexas.gov). Please include the submission form attached to this email, as well as JPG images of the winter-themed art you would like to submit. Three members of the Public Art Board will jury this show.
The deadline for sending images to Paige is November 20th, 11:59PM. We will notify you of acceptance by end-of-day, November 22nd.
If accepted, here is what we will need from you by the load-in on Sunday, December 8th from 11 am – 1 pm:
• The art piece or pieces, ready-to-hang and compatible with our Arakawa Cable and Rail system in the gallery.
For 3-dimensional art: Artist must provide white or black pedestal (approved by FDC staff)
• The $30 entry fee (check or card payments only)
• A filled-out Artist’s Agreement and Release Form
Dates: December 8, 2019 through January 17, 2020
