Important Update: COVID-19 and BCA Programming
COVID-19 is having an impact that few of us could have foreseen at the beginning of the year, causing paradigm shifts in commerce and culture. Acting responsibly and in concert with government and health guidelines, we are amending our March and April calendars to reflect the following: All scheduled meetings will be conducted virtually through April 10. This includes meetings of Leadership Arts Institute classes in Dallas and Collin/Denton Counties, Leadership Arts Alumni, Corporate Art Exhibits, committee meetings, and happy hours. Member events planned for March 31 at Beck and April 16 at Goldmark Cultural Center will be postponed and rescheduled for later this year. In early April, you will be notified of the status of activities planned for the latter half of April and May, including the first meeting for participants in On My Own Time, BCA’s trademarked employee engagement program spotlighting creative talent in the workplace. Believing that “necessity is the mother of invention,” we are using the challenges of this COVID-19 outbreak to innovate how we provide services, information and value to you. Our Arts & Health Breakfast: Creative Interventions in Stress, Anxiety and Depression is planned to occur on June 18 at the Fairmont Dallas, and now seems more relevant than ever. Additionally, we will be sending you links to stories, white papers, and sites that add to our communal store of knowledge on the connections between arts and business. Please feel free to reach me or our team at 972-991-8300 or by e-mail at bca@ntbca.org with any comments, questions or recommendations that you may have. Thank you for your understanding, flexibility and partnership with BCA. |
