Craft Guild update for April

April at The Craft Guild of Dallas is upon us and quite frankly this is an April like no other.

With the closing of The Craft Guild’s building and the postponement of our classes during this COVID-19, Shelter in Place, time of our lives we continue to stay upbeat, positive and creative. We are filled with anticipation for the day we can return to our studios (and IT IS coming!) and we can resume life as we know it, doing what we love, creating ART!

We have received countless positive messages from so many of you. Thank you. It makes it easier for us to put the hard work in needed to make sure The Guild comes out of this fiscally sound. It probably doesn’t need to be said but when The Craft Guild closed our revenue dried up. Our main priority is that of our instructors and staff, without them there is no guild. With that in mind we have been negotiating in earnest with our landlord and vendors. They have all been understanding and more than willing to work with us. Also, we are staying abreast of everything the government has to offer us.

While we understand that there are many organizations asking for help, The Craft Guild has always been able to grow and maintain our facility and programs through your generous donations. Never have those donations been so important than now during this COVID-19 crisis. Every dollar counts.
We sincerely thank you for your support!
