ART!
In this 4-week class, we’ll explore how we can make art using the commonplace things found around us (found objects), images, & drawing, a combination of the three, or just one or two, through a series of weekly prompts. There’s room to try new things, and no experience is necessary. Material requirements are minimal, as we’ll be sourcing what we use from what we have through prompts that make us think differently about the materials available to us to create.
A weekly prompt with an example image will be emailed, inciting an exploration of what we can use to have fun and make some art. We’ll all hang and meet up via Google Meet on Wednesdays from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm to share what we’ve created and learn from one another.
You can sign-up for single class sessions or for all four weeks at once! Just be sure to sign up in advance to receive the (Un)Common Collage prompt & Google Meet link.
