New Happenings in the Metals Studios
Our immensely popular instructor Amanda Mobley is moving to Florida. She will be missed! However, we are excited to announce that Elsa Alcala Grivas and Jeff Duryea will be taking over her classes.

Elsa started fabricating jewelry over 15 years ago. She combines different techniques to create one-of-a-kind pieces which are truly wearable art. Her skill set includes metalsmithing, wire jewelry techniques, chasing and repousse, etching, bi-metal etching, and enameling.

Jeffrey Duryea began working as a bench jeweler at his uncle’s jewelry store. He took metalsmithing classes while at Wayne State University (including a class with Philip Fike) and continued in the Jewelry business as a master model maker for an industry manufacturer while pursuing an MBA. Jeff has continued with his passion for metalworking and jewelry at The Craft Guild.

The Online Gallery has been a huge success! We’ve also had requests to shop in person so we are NOW taking appointments. To make your appointment please email us at communications@craftguildofdallas.org. In the Online Gallery will find exceptional artworks from each of the disciplines taught at the Craft Guild for purchase. Each piece is crafted by one of our students or instructors.

If you are a current member of the Craft Guild and wish to have some of your artwork displayed in the Gallery, you will find Artist Agreement Application online.

Fall Show and Sale Artists We are hopeful we can still host our Fall Show, November 12-14. We know how hard it is to plan anything in advance so this year we will be accepting applications starting now but we will not require payment up front. If you are accepted when we know for sure we can safely hold our event we will send you an invoice for your booth fees.
