This class covers mixing modern/mineral pigments, how to get the most out of just 8 colors and combining colors for an awesome color pallet.
Color Theory: Modern and Mineral Pigments: What’s the difference? We will be doing a lot of color mixing. Identifying and picking colors that work well together. Using helpful guides on choosing the right colors for your composition. We will make two several paintings that show the differences between modern and mineral paint and you will learn how you can make better decisions in paint and the types of paint for color mixing. Some pigments may go off the market so how can we use a modern paint color to substitute a mineral color we want? Finally, I will show you how you take just eight colors and make a huge variety of colors with just those eight. You will not to bring any materials, all paint, surfaces and equipment will be supplied.
Classes & workshops are conducted in a safe environment – We will be observing quarantine measures such as wearing masks, social distancing, and anti-infection procedures. Registration will be required for our art activities, and class size will be limited to 10 people. No drop-ins.
