In this intermediate art class, you will begin to develop a style of abstract art that is uniquely your own. Throughout the course, you will begin multiple pieces of art that you can develop from class to class. Through experimentation and learning, each week you will engage in knowledge and opportunity to explore different
aspects of abstract art:
1. Texture
2. Mixed media
3. Color
4. Creative applications of paint
5. Using line to incorporate faces and figures
6. Collage
My goal is for you to build a personal relationship with your art, to let you experiment and explore, and to help you develop a studio practice outside of the classroom.
Let me know if you have questions! ajdonahue16@gmail.com. Looking forward to meeting you.
