Earth Day 2023 “Paintings and Assemblages” call for entries

Call For EntryDEADLINE EXTENDED TO MARCH 30th

Earth Day 2023

“Paintings and Assemblages”

Paintings and Assemblages on pre-existing surfaces will be an exhibit that celebrates the transcendent, innovative, and experimental works of Art.

The goal of this exhibit is to use art to inspire artists to recycle more and conserve natural resources

Recycled art and design encourage creativity in others— it’s alchemical, magical, subversive, and transformative by nature. Through the use of these discarded materials, we attempt to not only recycle but also make a comment on our rampant “throw-away” society.

Artists will be exhibiting paintings, assemblages, mosaics, found objects, cardboard, and anything else our society has deemed no longer useful.

We turn trash into art while keeping it out of our landfill. Throughout our exhibit, the community will find ways we can help keep our Earth a cleaner place to live and about sustainability.

The content must be of a nature that a public entity can display for the enjoyment of a diverse, family-type audience.
